THE SPACE & SLEEPING CONFIGURATION

Fourteen bedrooms are spread across three levels, connected by a private elevator for easy movement regardless of age or mobility. The sleeping configuration includes 12 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedroom, and 1 bunk room, accommodating up to 30 guests. Of the 11 full bathrooms, 4 are ensuite to individual bedrooms; the remaining 10 bedrooms share the other 7 full bathrooms across the three levels. An open-concept great room, a game room, and multiple decks give the group room to gather or split off, while the gourmet kitchen — with dual commercial-grade refrigeration, dual ranges, and dual dishwashers — is built to support catering for large events.

KEY AMENITIES

The heated pool is open April 26 through October 10. Pool heating carries an additional fee and requires 3 days' advance notice to arrange. The 8-person hot tub is available year-round. LOCATION & BEACH ACCESS

The Fitzgerald sits oceanfront on Corolla's 4x4 beach, a public beach reached by four-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle. Wild horses roam freely along this stretch of the northern Outer Banks. From the home, guests can walk out to the beach on foot or drive. The home is approximately 2.2 miles from pavement, about a 15-minute drive to the nearest shops and restaurants in Corolla and Duck.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Please note: the private beach boardwalk is temporarily out of service. The home's oceanfront setting is unchanged, and the beach remains accessible via the nearby 4x4 beach access. We'll update this listing as soon as the boardwalk is restored.

On-site parking accommodates approximately 15 vehicles. Up to 3 dogs are welcome at $250 per dog per stay. A 4WD or AWD vehicle is required to reach the property, as all access is via the beach. A signed rental agreement is required for all reservations.

For groups of 20–30, the per-person cost at The Fitzgerald compares favorably to splitting across two or three smaller rentals, while keeping everyone under one roof. A typical 6-bedroom rental sleeps 12–16 guests and often runs $15,000–$20,000 per week; The Fitzgerald sleeps 30 for a lower per-person rate, with resort-level amenities and concierge support included.

WEDDINGS

The Fitzgerald hosts destination weddings, with the Atlantic Ocean as a ceremony backdrop and the beach available for vows at golden hour. Cocktail hour works on the oceanfront deck, and receptions move to the pool deck and terrace, which accommodates farm tables, string lighting, and seating for up to 60+ guests. Full vendor coordination is available; wedding reservations start at $10,000.

CORPORATE RETREATS

The estate suits leadership offsites, team retreats, and client events, with breakout space across three levels, a theatre room for presentations, and outdoor areas for team-building. The gourmet kitchen supports catered meals, and concierge services can arrange private chefs and off-site excursions. Corporate reservations start at $10,000 for a 2-night weekday minimum, $13,500 on weekends.

CONCIERGE SERVICES

Available through our concierge team: grocery pre-stocking, private chef dinners, in-home spa and wellness, guided wild horse tours, water sports and adventure bookings, and event coordination. These services are arranged through trusted local vendors, optional, and not included in the rental cost.

POLICIES

Check-in is at 4:00 PM, check-out at 10:00 AM. Minimum stay is 7 nights during peak season (Sunday-to-Sunday preferred June 14–August 16); 3 nights in low/shoulder season. The base rate covers 16 guests, with a $35 per person, per night fee for additional guests up to 30. Linens and towels are included for stays of 7+ nights; a $750 fee applies to shorter stays. Smoking is not permitted indoors ($750 fine); designated outdoor areas are available. Reservations require a 25% deposit with no finance charges, and balance due before arrival. "Cancel For Any Reason" travel insurance is available. Returning guests receive a 5% discount on future bookings.

The Fitzgerald is managed by LuxStayUSA, with guest support available seven days a week from 8 AM to 10 PM.
