MGM Signature Unit 701: Your Las Vegas Guide for 2026

A 900-square-foot suite on the 21st floor. Strip views from the bedroom and the private balcony. A full kitchen, two marble bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub, and no resort fees. That is Unit 701 at MGM Signature, and it is a fundamentally different way to do Las Vegas.
This guide covers everything worth knowing before you arrive: the suite itself, what is within walking distance, how to plan your days, and when to book.
The Suite
Unit 701 sleeps four comfortably: king bed in the private bedroom, queen pull-out sofa in the living area. The kitchen has a four-burner stove, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. Two full bathrooms with marble fixtures. Washer and dryer in the unit. 42-inch flat screen with cable and satellite.
The detail that matters most for most guests: no resort fee. At $50 or more per night at comparable Strip hotels, that adds up fast over a four- or five-night stay. Book direct at luxstayusa.com and that saving is yours.

Location
MGM Signature connects to MGM Grand via a covered walkway. That means Cirque du Soleil KA, David Copperfield, Jabbawockeez, Joel Robuchon, Craftsteak, and Morimoto are all reachable without stepping outside. T-Mobile Arena is a short walk for Golden Knights games and major concerts. Allegiant Stadium is a rideshare away for Raiders games.
The three private heated pools in the Signature towers are a genuine advantage over the main MGM Grand pool deck. Quieter, less crowded, and a better place to spend a morning before the day starts.
Entertainment
The Sphere is the most significant new venue on the Strip. The immersive shows there are unlike anything else in Las Vegas. From Unit 701, it is a quick ride via MGM Grand.
AREA15 and Omega Mart are worth a half-day. Omega Mart by Meow Wolf is a walk-through interactive art installation that is genuinely hard to describe. Book tickets in advance; it sells out on weekends.
Cirque du Soleil KA at MGM Grand is one of the best productions in the city. The set alone is worth the ticket. Book through the MGM concierge as a Signature guest for priority seating.
Dining
The full kitchen means you control breakfast and late-night meals without paying resort prices. For dinners out, the MGM Grand complex has the range covered.
Joel Robuchon is Michelin-starred French cuisine and one of the best restaurants in the city. Reserve well in advance. Craftsteak is the right call for a group steak dinner. Morimoto Las Vegas handles Japanese with the same precision you would expect from the name.
For something more casual: Eataly at Park MGM is a ten-minute walk and covers everything from a quick lunch to a full Italian dinner. In-N-Out is nearby for the nights when nothing else will do.

Nightlife
Hakkasan at MGM Grand is a multi-level club that draws serious DJs and runs late. Wet Republic is the dayclub option on the MGM property, open seasonally. For something off the MGM campus, Omnia at Caesars and XS at Wynn are both worth the short ride.
The practical advantage of Unit 701 for nightlife: you are home in minutes. No expensive late rides, no waiting for elevators in a crowded hotel lobby.
Day Trips and Experiences
Valley of Fire is an hour northeast and worth a full day. Red sandstone formations, ancient petroglyphs, and almost no crowds on weekday mornings. Hoover Dam is 30 minutes southeast. The engineering is genuinely impressive and the tour is well run. The Neon Museum is a good two-hour evening stop for anyone interested in the history of the city.
Helicopter tours over the Strip and Grand Canyon are available from several operators near the airport. Book in advance for the best rates.

When to Visit
March through May is the most comfortable weather window. Crowds are lighter than summer and the days are long enough to do everything. September through November is the other strong window: cooler temperatures, fewer families, and a full events calendar.
Formula 1 weekend in November books out months in advance. If that is your target, reach out early. Same for New Year's Eve and major fight weekends at T-Mobile Arena.
Practical Notes
Parking. Valet is complimentary at MGM Signature (subject to availability). Free self-parking is available at MGM Grand. If you are driving in, you will not pay to park.
Show tickets. Book before you arrive. The MGM concierge can assist with priority access for Signature guests. Do not wait until you land.
Dinner reservations. Joel Robuchon and Craftsteak both fill up. Make reservations before your trip, not the morning of.
Walking shoes. The Strip is longer than it looks on a map. You will cover more ground on foot than you expect.
